Get Some Awesome in Your Life

I love Kid President. Not only because he is a cute kid with an awesome message, but because he challenges us to grow, to dream, to dance and to be better people.

Robby Novak is Kid President. As you watch him on the videos, you see a kid with wit, joy, fearlessness, and a ton energy.

Here take a look:

Robbie is a reminder to me that we should always be careful about making assumptions about people based on what shows on the outside. Can you imagine a kid like Robbie having a medical condition that sometimes makes it hard to dance? Robbie has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) a brittle bone condition (http://www.healthline.com/health/osteogenesis-imperfecta) and as a result, he has experienced over70 bone breaks since birth. Robbie is 9 years old – that’s an average of 7.75 broken bones every year of his life. As noted on the Kid President website:  “What’s inspiring about Robby isn’t his condition, but the fact that his condition doesn’t define who he is. In spite of all he’s been through he not only keeps going – he dances.”

As someone who knows how our bodies, minds or circumstances sometimes betray us into almost giving up, Robbie inspires me to keep shooting for awesome. As Kid President says in his Pep Talk video: “Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled. And it hurts, man, really bad! Rocks! Thorns! and glass…NOT COOL Robert Frost…But what if there really were two paths? I want to be on the one that leads to awesome.”

Do you define who you are each day? Or does what’s happening (or not happening) in your life now define who you are? Are you looking for awesome in your life?

If your answer is yes, yes, yes – then life coaching may be right for you.  Contact me now for a free 30–minute exploratory session.  You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
